Welcome to OnEasy (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app or services.

1. Information We Collect

Username: Chosen by you; does not need to be your real name.
Gender (optional)
Apple ID email (via Sign in with Apple):
- If you use Hide My Email, we store the anonymized Apple relay email.
- If not, we store your real email address.
Subscription details: renewal date, expiration date, tier, and payment status.
Payment info: We do not collect or store credit card data. All payments are processed securely by Apple.

2. How We Use Your Email

Your Apple ID email (hidden or real) is used only for:

Account identification and authentication
Essential communications (like password resets)

We never sell or share your email with third parties. It remains stored solely for account integrity and may persist even if your account is deleted.

3. Preferences & AI Processing

Preferences (e.g., selected activities, goals, or categories) are processed anonymously.
We may send anonymous preference data to Anthropic (Claude API) for AI-generated outputs.
Emails are never shared with Anthropic.
Anthropic may temporarily store anonymized data for safety/quality checks but cannot identify you.

4. Account Deletion

Username and gender are deleted upon request.
Anonymous preferences may remain if they cannot be linked back to you.
Apple ID email remains stored solely as an identifier for account integrity.
Minimal non-identifying subscription data is retained for legal, fraud prevention, and accounting purposes.

5. International Users & Data Transfers

Our servers are hosted in the U.S. (AWS DynamoDB).
If you reside outside the U.S., your data may be transferred and processed here.
We comply with applicable data protection laws.

6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 where required).
If discovered, such data will be deleted immediately.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account/data (except Apple ID email).
Correct inaccurate information.
